It seems, now that I am an adult, that art has been an inescapable part of my life, always begging for more attention. I've done my best to ignore this drive, winding my way through more structured forms of creativity, like a stunted career in commercial interior design, but the most basic drive to create on a daily basis winds its way back to me, regardless of what I do.

Throughout the years I've always felt compelled to be making things and now find that I am happiest when my hands are knitting, sewing, carving, drawing, painting, or picking up a new skill. If I'm not in my studio, you'll find our family of 4 out exploring our beloved St. Croix River Valley by foot, paddle, or bike wheel.

A little bit more about me.
